BiOS is constantly on the lookout for new people to join our team. While our biggest demand is for bilingual technical staff with both hardware and software experience, we also place a great deal of importance on intellect, creativity, organization and work ethic. We recruit the best people from all around the world; currently we have over 70 people from more than 10 countries working in the company. It is very much a bilingual office, as one of our strengths is our ability to communicate effectively with our clients, be they in Japan or abroad.

In this position, you will be responsible for designing, architecting, and operating network system for corporate clients within data centers. Senior Support Engineer
Job Description We are looking for a Senior Support Engineer to join the bilingual technical team in Tokyo. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has experience in the following areas:
  • • Working with users to troubleshoot most any issue
  • • Providing 2nd and 3rd level support
  • • Administrating servers at client locations
  • • Coordinating with colleagues, vendors and clients
  • • Leading teams or IT projects
The Senior Support Engineer will work closely with management, being involved in projects, taking an active role in the development of the technical team, provide technical consultation to clients and provide support to other BiOS’ technical team members.

Technical Support Engineer
Job Description A new contract opening within the offices of a busy BiOS customer based in Bunkyo-ku, this is an excellent role to use your solid user support experience in an active, predominantly Japanese language environment. As well as standard desktop user calls you will also take calls from field sales staff on issues from Laptops to smart tablets, and will have the support and escalation capacity of the internal Level 3 support function to aid or take any queries as necessary.

Support Engineer
Job Description The Support Engineer is primarily responsible for ensuring that users are able to perform everyday work functions and to maintain the software and hardware the users’ desktop machines (laptops, desktops). The Support Engineer is also responsible for the servers at client locations and must coordinate their work schedule in order to visit all of the clients that have been assigned to them. This involves coordination with multiple teams, vendors and clients in order to resolve all outstanding, current or new issues. As well as this the Support Engineer will be involved in various types of projects, will liaise with IT headquarters, deliver consultation of customers’ IT environment, and support datacenter management team.
